Pleasures to Meet You
In a collision of rebellious vibes and edgy aesthetics, PUMA has unleashed the AC Milan 23/24 Fourth Kit, a fusion of LA streetwear brand Pleasures' punk, metal, and grunge influences with the intricate allure of Milan's gothic architecture. This time, PUMA takes the unconventional route with not one but two distinct versions: a light and a dark variation.
Shaking off the conventional football kit collaborations, PUMA's recent partnerships for AC Milan's fourth kits have transcended the pitch. First, it was the Italian fashion powerhouse NEMEN in 2022, followed by a rendezvous with high-end fashion brand Koché in the subsequent year. Now, the spotlight turns to the raw energy of LA's streetwear scene with Pleasures, resulting in the creation of not just one, but two rebellious fourth kits.
The dual kit concept draws inspiration from Milan's paradoxical nature, capturing the serene dusk and the awakening dawn. Adding an avant-garde twist, both versions boast reflective logos, a groundbreaking move for AC Milan's kit designs.
Breaking away from tradition, the two distinct iterations will see the light of day in separate games for the first time in the club's history. In the clash against Napoli, the players will sport the enigmatic black version, while the goalkeeper dons the pristine counterpart, creating a visual spectacle on the pitch. The reverse dynamic unfolds in the away game against Monza, promising fans an electrifying visual experience in each encounter. The innovative design and concept extend to AC Milan's women's team, set to showcase the Fourth Kit in the Derby against Inter on February 18.
Unveiled during an exclusive event in Milan in collaboration with Slam Jam, AC Milan players, VIPs, and the media got the first glimpse of the jerseys. Simultaneously, the kits made their mark in Los Angeles through a guerrilla posting activity, adding an element of underground cool to the global reveal.
