We Can Call This Love

Patta x Nike” collaboration has been working wonders for a few years now. It revitalized the launch of the Air 1s even before they made a massive comeback with Patta's famous “Follow the Wave” and the four colorways introduced last year.

Patta, the Dutch brand founded by two former hip-hop vinyl spinners, has always had an eye on football. Contemplating how to make a strong entrance, they collaborated with Ajax and Davids to create one of the most beautiful interpretative football jerseys in recent years.

However, something was missing—a leap into the world of the giants and a collaboration destined to make waves. Leveraging their relationship with Nike, Patta, being true to their Dutch roots, set their sights on one of the teams that has immortalized the Dutch in football: Barcelona.

We immediately tried to grab the jersey from the Patta website with little success. In the end, we struck a deal and snagged it from the Nike site with the Spotify sponsor—no complaints there. The cool factor of the jersey lies undoubtedly in its design—the representation of the veins and arteries of the Catalan heart, almost melding seamlessly with the shirt and the players who wear it. It's a bit like Venom from Spiderman.

For us, it's one of the jerseys of the year. We love it, and we love photographing it in the tight corners of our locker room before friendly matches with friends. The colors are vibrant and eye-catching, especially under the flash at night. This heart represents a piece of history because, as kids, we all dreamt of stepping onto the field alongside the GOAT, Messi, in Camp Nou.
