BAPE x Inter Miami
BAPE® and Inter Miami CF have unveiled an exclusive collaboration, presenting the BAPE® x Inter Miami CF Collection. This collection encompasses a range of apparel, including pullover hoodies, t-shirts, sweat shorts, and caps. The items will be accessible at BAPE STORE® MIAMI, as well as select BAPE® outlets globally and online in specific regions starting on Saturday, August 19. A limited quantity of pieces will also be attainable at the Inter Miami CF Team Store, subject to availability.
The introduction of the collaboration was made through a series of images and videos showcasing Inter Miami CF players, namely DeAndre Yedlin, Josef Martinez, Leo Campana, and Drake Callender, who sported the exclusive Miami collection. The highlight of this collection is an Inter Miami CF-inspired pink camo t-shirt, available for purchase exclusively at South Florida locations, including BAPE STORE® MIAMI at 137 NE 39th Street, Miami, Florida 33137, while supplies last.
Centered around Inter Miami CF's signature pink team color, the collaboration seamlessly blends BAPE® CAMO with the distinctive pink hue. Each shirt is embellished with an exclusive tag and badge, crafted specifically for this collab. The items are designed to harmonize sporty aesthetics with versatility, making a statement both on the streets and the pitch. The collection spans from size S to XL, with prices commencing at $159.
What we really appreciate is that Inter Miami is truly polarizing the United States soccer scene. However, we must believe that this collaboration was conceived in the past year, even before they assembled the team. Clothing items are not typically conjured overnight; they demand time, meticulous design, and thoughtful development. We are well aware of this, as we are currently working on our own capsule collections. A minimum of six months is required, igniting our admiration for the strategic effort invested by the Miami team.
Their intention seems clear: to polarize the MLS and set an example both on and off the field. We find this collaboration appealing, as it nods to unique stylistic elements and boldly embraces a vibrant shade of pink. It's worth mentioning that the brand created a few years ago for Inter Miami is stylistically ideal for such collaborations. The logo seamlessly integrates with the jersey, avoiding clashes with the BAPE pocket logo.
Lately, we've witnessed somewhat underwhelming collaborations from certain teams – for instance, the 032c and Juventus partnership. However, the alliance between Miami and BAPE is love at first sight.
