No More Red

Arsenal and adidas proudly announce the debut of the "No More Red" kit for the men's team, set to grace the field against Liverpool in the upcoming FA Cup third round on January 7. This marks the third consecutive season that the Arsenal Men will sport this distinctive kit, symbolizing the club's enduring commitment to tackling youth crime and violence.

The 'No More Red' initiative, launched in January 2022, has evolved into a powerful force for good, rallying the community around the shared goal of creating safer environments for young people. The impact of this collaboration extends beyond the pitch, reflecting a genuine effort to address societal challenges.

The 'No More Red' kit, adorned with minimalistic elements, is not just a uniform but a symbol of solidarity. Its significance lies in its roots – a campaign initiated to keep the youth safe from knife crime and juvenile violence. Unveiled for the first time in 2022, the kit has since become a beacon of social responsibility.

The commitment doesn't stop at the jersey. In a move that transcends traditional philanthropy, the Arsenal Women's team will don an all-white kit, echoing the 'No More Red' sentiment when they face Watford in the FA Cup fourth round on January 14. This expansion of the initiative underlines a dedication to fostering change at both the grassroots and professional levels of the sport. In 2024, Arsenal and adidas are set to amplify their community engagement initiatives. The 'No More Red' campaign will see the opening of a third refurbished field at Mayville Estate, Islington, early in the year. These fields, established since the campaign's inception, have already seen over 650 hours of organized activities, involving more than 500 participants in 200 sessions, along with over 9,000 hours of open access for the local community.

“Empowering Through Action”

The commitment goes beyond the pitch, with social action projects providing 83 young individuals with opportunities to gain experience in creative industries. Volunteering incentives continue, allowing supporters to contribute their time to charitable causes. Additionally, 'No More Red' jerseys will be awarded to "community champions" making a positive impact, adding to the 79 champions recognized since the initiative's launch.

A unique aspect of the campaign is the release of a community-inspired 'No More Red' T-shirt, designed by Nellie-Rose, a young member of the Arsenal community. The T-shirt, available for purchase from January 29, will see 100% of the proceeds donated to 'No More Red' partners, furthering the impact of this philanthropic endeavor.

As we look ahead to 2024, the collaboration between adidas and Arsenal serves as a testament to the power of sports to drive positive change. The 'No More Red' initiative stands not just as a kit, but as a symbol of unity and progress, resonating far beyond the football field, bringing communities together for a cause that matters.
